Metroid: Other M

As a kid, I used to play on a Gameboy. I had one of those game cartridges that had a ton of games in them. Aside from that, I also had this game cartridge called Metroid Fusion and Metroid Zero Mission. These two games were one of the first games I’ve ever finished. Playing it on the gameboy, it already gave me chills, especially when there were suspense scenes where you couldn’t see the enemies.

So being able to play this childhood game on the Wii with better 3D graphics, it made me so joyful.

You play as the famous bounty hunter named Samus Aran. Equipped with advanced ancient technology, her suit enables her to do incredible feats.

A sci-fi first person shooter, this game is visually beautiful in my opinion. Although, a lot of people hate the game for showing that Samus has PTSD on her past encounters with her Space Pirate nemesis named Ridley.

I enjoyed this game so much because aside from the nostalgia it brought, the combat mechanics were seamless. Once you master Samus’s moves, you get this fighting chance when you battle difficult bosses such as the last one, the Queen Metroid.
